A bad idea perhaps..

So I was really bored one evening/night, so I had this great idea to watch a movie. Nothing wrong with that, but for some reason I chose a Korean horror movie. Still nothing wrong with that either since I love horror movies.
So here I was watching the movie alone in my room, back turned against the door and while enjoying the movie, it gets dark outside. After watching about half of the movie, I got really thirsty and decided to get something to drink. So I get up from the chair and turn around, just to realize to whole apartment is completely dark and the only light is coming from my computer and the aquarium.
Then it hits me, me + alone + darkness + horror movie = ultimate paranoia.
Just to make things worse, Japanese and Korean horror movies are the ones that takes my paranoia to a whole new level with their "ghosts" with white faces, black hair and eyes. So while walking to the kitchen (okay, so it was more like running) I'm all the time waiting to suddenly see someone crawling from the dark with white face and everything.
So after this dangerous mission to get something to drink, I realize how dangerously I've been sitting with an open door behind my back. I take my computer to the bed ('cause then nobody can sneak behind my back) and leaving the door just a little open so the cats can come and go as they want (otherwise they'll scare me to death when they try to get in trough the closed door).
And yes, after something stupid like sitting in a bed under the blanket, I feel much safer
From now on, I have to try to remember NOT to watch horror movies alone, 'cause I never get paranoid like this when watching them with someone else. Not even if I know I'll be left alone after watching the movie, my imagination is just too wild when left alone

I did something like that when I was 14 or 15 I think. lol
Watched a marathon of Scariest Places on Earth alone in the house with a HUGE window right behind me. I was too scared to even move.
Nowadays though, I love watching horror movies alone past 12am. Good movies though, not cheesy ones or (some) Hollywood adaptations.

I can't watch horror movies at all. No matter if I'm alone or not. After watching Paranormal Activity 3 I had paranoia for over a month. :'D And it wasn't even korean or japanese.
