What’s left?
The words mean nothing if the actions are lifeless,
Is it the action or the lack of which makes them priceless?
To have everything needed to be everything and have all you desire,
How can you be if you just let it rot and sour?
The things said and to be believed to be true,
If everyone else sees it then how is it blinded to you?
You give other the strength to push and fight on,
What happens if you give so much your own will is

Wonder

I sit and wait gazing at the unchanging sky,



The wind, birds and clouds all past me by.


The moments in time repeat like a curse,


The smiles, the laughs, the tears I know not what is worst.


I remain how I was and always will be,


Cast in the clouded shadows trapped and set free.


I search they heavens for a sign to find,

Alone on the island inside my mind,
I stare at thoughts lost in time.
Goals and dreams past me by,
Hope and love wither and die.
Torment and pain flash and grow,
Endless suffering is all I know.
Watching thoughts come to life,
They fill my heart like a serrated knife.
Gazing at faces that I could be,
Translucent smile look back at me.
As they fade and go away,
Alone on the island I must stay.
