Thoughts: Ai Yazawa and starting University

on the 1st october ill be starting university here in the UK and im very nervous; mainly about the workload but also about living away.
i was initially very excited; i like the idea of going to a new place, meeting new people and being challenged academically, but as that time comes closer im becoming more apprehensive... im really going to miss my family and the vibrancy of london.
for those who are currently at or finished uni/college any words of advice or experiences you're willing to share?
my favourite shojo manga title is Nana by Ai Yazawa. as many of you will know this manga has been on a hiatus for sometime now due to the authors ill health. to those who fans; any update on the authors condition or the manga? also what other works of hers would you recommend; ive also read paradise kiss<-- i thought it was ok :S

if your uni is anything like mine, Leeds Metropolitan, you will be there three days a week, for a total of nine hours a week, you will have a lot of fun and nearly all of your appropriation will disappear in the first week of being there, in the first year of uni for me everything was a laugh, always good times even doing the most menial thingsPosted 09-13-2011 at 04:55 PM by joeboi112

Good Luck, my brother started Uni last year. He said the freshers week was really fun :3
