Umm, so why havent i been around??????

well lets see, when im not working. I spend my time training for the upcoming 5K's (First is a week from today!),

and when im not doing that i'll be on my Xbox Live just playing games! i got gamefly so, i play a lot of games.

Then there was a time when i was just busy downloading DVD's (Illegally:D) and selling them to people. but then my DVD Burner stopped working for some reason, so that sucks!!!

i mean, i even stopped watching anime for some months! hard to believe but true.

so last week i did some catching up and finished a couple series. Gundam 00 Second Season, Vampire Knight: Guilty, and Soul Eater.

then i started watching two other series. FMA, and Dragonball Kai. they arent bad. although i wished that DBK was just like its on the Intro/Ending.

So i guess thats it. reasons why im not as "active" anymore. otherwise i bet my post count would be in the 15 thousands or nearby. lol.

Lets start with the list. The first book i... So the last week i read a couple comics that i thought were good, and one that i thought was bad. Lets start with the list.


The first book i read was Batman: The Killing Joke. This comic was not so bad IMO. its the only first comic that has a backstory to how the Joker came to be. which is pretty cool. and the art wasnt so bad either.

Second comic i read was Batman: The Long Halloween. This was was REALLY good. it reminded me of TDK, somewhat. i loved the storyline and everything about it. EVERYBODY should read it.

The Third comic i read was Watchmen. At first i thought that it wouldnt be so good but after finishing i realized why its known as one of the best Comics/novels ever. READ IT!

And lastly, Batman: Arkham Asylum. I thought that it was sort of bad. the storyline wasnt as good. (IMO) and the way that it was drawn, i didnt like either. maybe some of you do, but not me:D


so now that im done with these books, these are the next ones i plan on buying:

Batman: Year One
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Batman: A Dark Victory
V For Vendetta

it should be a good week for reading:D

Its a 5k run that i do every year, for breast cancer research and i love it.

The first year i came in 19th place
The second year i dont remember i ran alongside this girl and didnt try as much:D
The third year i came in 77th place

and now i plan on coming TOP 20 once again.
So far in my training my fastest time was 20:06

but since i'll be doing the real thing tomorrow it should go down a couple seconds or minutes you never know....


so yea, i'll tell you all how i did tomorrow...

but there are a couple that actually sing about different subjects. one that i know off the top of my head is Don Omar.

his albums are always about different subjects. and tego is just like that as well. Sure they do club songs as well, (Salio El Sol, Quitate To) but at least they arent like Daddy Yankee.

his recent album El cartel: the big boss sucked IMO. i only liked two songs from the album. i regret buying it. idk why he thinks he is the king. that crown fits don omar better.

Wisin & yandel also have a lot of club related songs but that is the one duo that i've actually followed since i first got into reggaeton, and believe that they are the best in the genre.

and then about a week ago, Tego released a new mixtape. "Gongoli" where there was a track song called Mierda Eh! if you look for it online, you see that people think its a dissed aimed at Wisin & Daddy Yankee. part of it could be aimed towards DY, cuz he has a line where he says "Que Tu Suena En To’ Los Carros, Pai Tu Eres Un Charro, No Tiene Barrena, No Tiene Taladro" we all know that DY did a song with Eddie Dee called el taladro. and we all know that Tego is real close to eddie dee and would never diss him. so people around the internet thinks its directed to DY.

as far as dissing Wisin (from the duo Wisin & Yandel) i doubt it. cuz then why is there a new song in the just released Wisin & Yandel Los Extraterrestres special edition cd? featuring Tego Calderon. sure they probably recorded it a while ago, but they could have taken it off the cd.

well anyways. im just trying to say that Tego isn't happy either with the direction that reggaeton is headed. in parts of the songs he just says stuff like "Alante Tienen Que Aceptar Macaron De Panama, Y Si No Fuera Por Mi Sonarian Aqui Na’ Ma" which basically translates to. "you copied Panama, and if it wasnt for me, you would only be heard in P.R.

and also "Los Reggaetoneros Baladista, Tan En Mi Lista, Si Yo Quiero Oir Balada Compro El Disco De Fonsi….." which means, reggaeton ballad singers, your also on my list. if i wanted to listen to ballads i would buy Luis Fonsi's cd."



so....i agree with tego. reggaeton is not the same anymore. it was much better back in 2002. nowadays it sucks. except for a few artist.

Monday May 11th im going to start practicing for some races, mostly 5k's. And then on June 2nd im going to start a training program, for a race that i plan on racing in September. Its called the Men's Health Urbanathlon. Its an 8 mile race in New York City, where i have to jump over obstacles, and climb 52 floors of stairs. Hopefully by the time that September comes i'll be in great shape and do well overall.

but before that race there are a couple 5k's that im also going to participate in. the first one is the 21st of May, which is not that far away. this first 5k, im just going to race to see in what shape i am in. because its been a while since i run. and then all throughout June, August September. i'll be busy running most of my time. hopefully all will turn out well.

(arent they always?) and the movie was completely different from the book in many aspects. the only things that they kept the same where some names, and stuff.

so the first book is called Jumper written by Steven Gould. it was better than what i expected so after i finished reading it, i ordered the second one Reflex, it too was great.

In the first book a theme and issue that was addressed a lot was domestic violence, which if you've seen the movie they also demonstrated at the beginning. Then the book focuses on other stuff, like Davy taking on terrorists.

The second book deals with Davy being captured by some people, and then his wife looking for him and stuff with the help of the government.

so basically what im trying to say is that if you have some free time you should read Jumper and check it out. and if you like it, read the second one you won't regret it

Fast forward a few years, and then i moved to the N64. Used to love playing this all the time. i used to have all the Tony Hawk games, Mario kart, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Automobili Lamborghini, Star Fox. and some more i cant remember the names. then i gave it away, and just recently i got it back because i realized that i wanted to play these old games still. this only happened after i realized that GoldenEye was almost an XBLA game, and then it suddenly was pulled from going on Xbox Live. I was pissed at that. just imagine playing GoldenEye with improved graphics (maybe) and multiplayer on Xbox Live. that would be awesome.

So after the N64 i got an Xbox. I remember the day i bought it. i was really happy i bought it with my own money. it was the year i first started working. i used to love playing those games. my favorites by far were Mortal kombat: Deadly Alliance, 007's Nightfire,and Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX 2. i still have some of the games, but not the xbox because it broke on me a while ago. im trying to get another one. recently i saw one on gamestop, but i dont think i'll be able to buy it. last time i checked there were only two left.

Nowadays, i play on the Xbox 360. i got it the day after it launched, with Perfect Dark Special Edition as my first game. Then i bought the game that became one of my favorites of all time. Call of Duty 2. Such a sick game that was. i was stupid enough to let a friend borrow it, and then he sold it.

it was until last year that i started playing on Xbox Live. I started playing Call of Duty 2, and Gears of War. Playing on Xbox Live is seriously awesome in my opinion.

Now its 2008, and im playing such games as Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Call of Duty 4, and still Gears of War. i plan on getting a Nintendo Wii by the end of the year. so i can play all the Mario related games, and what ever else i might like. and also a PlayStation 2 so that i can play these two games from japan based on what is one of my most liked animes. Saint Seiya.

this year im waiting for the following games to come out:

Iron Man
Gears of War 2
Dragonball Z: Burst Limit

I mean even Setsuna sorta looks like Heero Hyui. Will there be more seasons later on or is it really over?

And when im not watching Anime, im reading mangas. right now im reading Death Note, Bleach, Naruto (i thought it'd be easier to catch up to the anime by reading the manga), and so i think i'll be a little busy on that side for a bit.

but its not like i can just watch anime, and read manga all day. i do take my breaks. for example, i always take time to watch That 70's Show, cuz its like my favorite show ever, and when im not watching tv i play a little of Rock Band, its an awesome game. and even more, i usually pick a book and read. on wednesday i bought Jumper, and it was a great read. after seeing the movie i realized that maybe they should have stuck to the storyline in the book, it was so great. now i just gotta read Reflex (the sequel)

Oh and lastly, I turn 21 next Thursday so i gotta have a party or something. i mean its not everyday this happens.
