Here is something I wrote thats pretty deep to me 1st one

I look in the mirror and what do I see
A reflection of someone that's possibly me
I focus straight forward directly in the eyes
It's like something resembling me in disguise
Losing yourself is so hard to explain
Once it starts slipping it's hard to obtain
It feels like circling downward a spiraling drain
Should I let go of this pain? Would it all be in vain?
That's once how things were but like seasons it changed
My views of reality suddenly changed
Fed up and worn out I untied the noose
Feeling relieved as I feel it go loose
I've found out the things that life has to bring
Like seeing a sunrise and hearing birds sing
I'm not letting go, optimism I cling
I'm all better now, I have sown up my seams.

2nd one

Would you come with me even not knowing the way?
Could you follow me if we were leaving today?
Should you risk losing everything that eases your mind?
Even if that meant leaving it forever behind?

Would you come if you knew what was lying ahead?
Could you accept the fact we might both end up dead?
Should you fight for what you deeply believe is right?
Even if the goal is so far out of site?

Would I let you come knowing it is the end?
Could I sacrifice the life of a dear friend?
Should I decline harshly while showing false pride?
Even if I am simply terrified inside?

I won't let you follow, it's my path alone.
You can let my spirit's voice guide your way home.
I should not look back just face forward, the way.
Even if it pains me composed I must stay.

Now just my footprints mark where I once stood.
A lasting impression, one hoped to be good.
A fading memory now just barely there.
Awaiting a breeze to vanish in thin air.
