Why do people lie?

so they can get away with stuff at the present moment.

well some times it's so they can protect you but also that...Also to take advantage of stuff...

When i get the choice, i prefer to tell a lie instead of steering up a conflict i could avoid.

to make the other persons life worst^^

Because the truth hurts sometimes

There are many reasons to why people lie including intentions.

You can lie to protect someone, you can lie to save yourself, you can lie to put people down you can, etc.

NOW i am a big believer of karma, and i'll do everything that i can to become a better person.

I even gave a homeless person 2 bucks and i will be donating my 2 cats to like this animal thing for disabled kids where they can pet them & such.

Be carefull with being a good guy all the time, you will end up hurting someone... badly.

I had a pretty scary episode here about 2 years ago when i was still in education.

When i was on my way to school i saw a guy laying in a pretty awkward position in the corner of a football field i cross everyday in my way to and from school, i went over to take a look and saw that he was all pale in his face and had pretty much no pulse at all. I give him first aid and heart massage for somewhere between 15 to 20 mins until the ambulance arrived. A few hours after school the same day i was contacted by a nurse who told me about the man i had giving first aid earlier, he was on drugs and had apparently taken an overdose earlier in the day to try and kill himself. Exactly 6 days later the man began threatening me and my parents over the phone for having saved the damn guy, of course we contacted the police and the guy was forced into treatment.

I probably wouldn't have done it differently today, but still that was not the gratetude you would expect from the guy who you pretty much saved from death and it left a scar on me and my parents which was pretty much because of me doing the right thing.

Oh, man that sucks. But that's how it goes man. Some people are gratefull, others aren't as much. that shouldn't stop you for being a good person and such. Think if it was someone else, and was actually happy you saved em. It's all on the scenario i guess.

Because they're afraid of what the truth will bring. 99% of the time.

so that they seem to be in a better life when they are down in the dumps. so that they can live in there imagination and can be who they want to be. they can seem like cool and very mysterious people when in real life they are like anyone else. but sometimes people lie to hurt others. they lie so that they can get away with things and so that good people can get into trouble. they lie so that they can destroy others lives and so that everything they worked hard for is gone. that is why people lie.

How very deep, mayhap I shall have to think up some more mind tweaking questions

to help a somone, to protect them
to get what they want, to get a job
it's totally normal
everyone does it
im sure you have too
and i don't believe in karma
