Dried me out
I, trapped in a box
Searched for the key all day long
With all the traveling, i got dirty
And to the passing people, looked like old rotten jewelry
then one day something mistakenly kicked me
held me, and opened me in curiosity
the creature couldnt believe, what it saw
me, a red shaped beating heart
it saw me beat faster and faster
with its beautiful eyes, i felt it mattered
but it manipulated me, imprisoned me in its words
and slowly slowly drained me out, which felt like a curse
then one day, locked me up in that same box again
why did it break the hour glass filled with our memories and promises
it had captured me with its eyes
and it hurts more, as it now hides
time passed away gradually
even though i had met a monster
i loved it the most
but now i was cold
i had stopped beating, this time for sure
