vampires, part 2/ modern wrighting

ok some of you will may be shocked but i read twilight and hated it, the writing was substandard and UNINVENTIVE. People have responded saying that it is imaginative, its not, just because they want to be vegi doesn't make it cool or imaginative, you will be amazed the number of shit books on the market which have vegi vamps. It wouldn't work in reality, a lion can't live that long on tofu. same with vampires.

there is also this idea that it is romantic, no its not, want romance, go to Jane Austen for a classic romance. I think this is one of the reasons why i am not a big fan of contemporary writing. I don't want to sound up myself, but i am clever and i just can't stand crap writing or page turners, i want a book to be intellectually stimulating not for it to kill my brain cells.

also i'd like peoples opinions on a show called being human, its got the vampires/werewolf/ghost stuff in it but i think it is a nice modern twist
also the vampire tries to go vegi for all you twilight fans
