Where the magic happens........

Ok, I don't know how this happens but whenever I get on Youtube, I start off on something really normal and then end up on something strange...
Ex. Last week I started off watching 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' and then ended up on 'Trololo' by Eduard Khil...
really random.
ANYWAY,
back to the main topic.. today I was watching this interesting video on Harry Potter, and unanswered questions from both the movie/book...
AND I somehow ended up on a video that was vehemently critisizing Stephen King on his choice words against Stephanie Meyer, saying that twilight was an 'uhhhmazing book'...which led to me watching a tirade of HP vs. Twilight vids.
Which leads me to the topic of Twilight-
Have you read it?
and when reading it, what did you find strange?
If you liked it,
If you didn't read it, well good for you.
Confession:
Y'know honestly I did read Twilight around 11 years of age (supposed age range market is tweens).. and I remember distinctly thinking that the book was slightly....off.
I liked it so I read it again...and the more times I would read it, I would then kind of contemplate on what was actually happening...
it went from this:
to this
Even though I disliked how the book was shaping up, I wanted to see how the rest of the books would come about. I pretty much skipped through the books because I just couldn't relate to the characters. They seemed so unrealistic and predictable.
We all knew from the begining that Edward was going to change Bella...
I don't know..maybe theres some element of Twilight that other people can relate to but- No, I do not want to romantically fall in love with a man who might kill me, is in love with my scent/wants to read my mind and is a potential pedo.
WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS????

I've read the Twilight books and I honestly like it. I know it's not for everyone but it was enjoyable for me hence the reason I finished reading all 4 books in the series. : o
The choice is yours and there is always the movie adaptations. n_nPosted 08-03-2012 at 03:25 PM by Luna15
