My Life and Street Fighter: The Profounding effect

Alright, I don't care who reads my blogs, as long as you like reading them and enjoys it, I've done my duty.
So what will my first blog post be about? Well, probably be about, Street Fighter.
Video games will be a huge part of my life. I play them everyday, especially fighting games. I love those the most. Right now, I'm trying to get better at Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, hey maybe one day you'll see me compete against the professionals.
Although I just started to play Street Fighter competitively, Street Fighter has always been in my life since I was a little kid. It was the first video game I ever played, it was the best video game I have ever played. That game, I remember when I was 5, I went to my grandpa's apartment and all my cousins and I would play that game, for 3-4 hours, it was probably an experience I would hope to have again. From that day on, Street Fighter entered my life, because of Street Fighter. Throwing my first Hadouken, beating my cousins, something no other game can take from me. From that day on, Ryu was the best video game character ever created.
Years down the road, fighting games started losing popularity, and only the truly dedicated stayed. Fortunately, there are a few who still played fighting games. This was sad, because not a lot of teenagers, and kids like me play Street Fighter anymore, and Arcades died because of online gaming, but one thing still stayed. Street Fighter, thank God it did. You see, some things have such a deep impact, it will never go away, whether it was a good or bad, it changes you. Street Fighter did that to me in a good way. 11 years later, I just started playing the game from casual, to hardcorely everyday. I'm hoping to get better and maybe get placed at a tournament. But, I will never forget Ryu and Street Fighter for as long as I live.

Street Fighter 4, I've never played it I can't discuss about it, but it is different, and interesting. The new system is intriguing, the 3d but 2d gameplay look is something I want to experience so I hope for the best for SF4 and I hope it gets people playing fighting games again.Posted 07-27-2008 at 09:13 AM by nguman

ah yeah street fighter...i loved that game...i think that's what hooked me into video games...i think i might still have that one and my old computer
