i woke up today at 6AM (i needed to go to the bathroom.... badly) but when i got out of bed i literally collapsed because my right leg suddenly gave out on me ;>.<
i couldn't stand anymore *sighs* and it hurt like hell ;>.<
i needed help from my mom to get to the bathroom ;>.< and when i got out she told me to try and go back to sleep (it was 6AM.... what else could i do?)
when i woke up again i found out that she had made an appointment for me at the GP (general practitioner)
i went there....... he examined me....... he found NOTHING ;>.<
he told me to go to the hospital tomorrow morning *sigh* it hurts ;>.< it shux ;>.< it made me miss a day of school,!! ..... (the only good thing,! well... kinda)

It happens when you sit crosslegged on a chair but, you usually move before it becomes too unconfortable and you only get pins and needles. But when you Sleep you dont notice it untill you wake up and blood rushing back to your legs after hours of being cut off is painfull. Or that can also happen, if you sleep realy deeply. Your body function goess down quite allot when you do so. usually while you sleep your body moves, (like a leg jerking a little here and there) if your body funktions go down to much. But in a deep sleep it doesnt do that.

But the bad thing was is i was living in the upstairs area(no bathroom that works up there). And the morning i woke up for school i litterally lost complete control of my balance, my legs gave out, and my arms felt so weak i couldn't even use them to help me get back onto my bed. So i layed there for like 10mins before my mom got tired of waitng for me and came upstairs to see what was taking me so long, and for me collapsed on the floor. Cool thing was i missed like 3 days of school because the doctor(hospital not some other shitty place), told me i had some werid deasie(idr what it was), and then made me take a shit load of meds (~_~ hated that), gave me 3 shots(left and right arm, and the ass), and sent me home. (i puked up at least half of what i was able to get down that morning the moment i got home and went into the bathroom.)Posted 01-07-2009 at 08:09 PM by ultimentman2
- The doctor probably didnt know whats wrong because you can clamp off a blood supply but just sitting in an awkward position and its nothing serios. YOu know when you get pins and needles. You cant medically see that. He was probably looking for some desease. If you would take a rope or something and bind a leg with it tightly. It would stop some blood getting through, through wich your mucles don't get much oxigen and cant get rid of the wasts. This gives you the pins and needles sensation and if it has been cut off long enuff you can feel pain, wich is the blood that is suddenly rushing back and a feeling like your legs are made of jelly. People who have been handcuffed know this (not that i have ever been handcuffed). So its not realy something that a doctor could see.
OH yea you wont die... but you could luse your legs if you sleep to long in such a position...."I AM TOTALLY SERIOS"

YOu can loose your legs if something like that happens realy (put aside the jokes) but you have to be in that position for months. It usually happens to coma patients who have been neglected. And let lie in that postion unatended.
