snow white slumber.

Sunday 8th Februari 2009, 05:10am.

'its been a long night but finally it seems that the sun will be coming up soon.
in about an hour the beautiful full moon will slowly be dissapearing and the sky will glow of a mysterious orange color as the sun will slowly be creeping up and peek above the rooftops of many buildings to wish us all a good morning and light our day'

i yawned as i glanced down at my sketchbook.
it seems that only words found their way into my head for once.
shivering slightly, i put my sketchbook and pencil down and wrapped my blanket over myself while staring up at the beautiful moon that had now managed to escape the many annoying clouds that had prevented it to show its true beauty.
a devilish grin found its way to my face as i took in a deep breath, the grin spreading wider as i opened my mouth and bayed the moon loudly.
i sighed deeply at the complete silence that followed after i had stopped. i had hoped for a response but it seemed people were long since asleep in their beds.
the thought of sleep made me yawn once again.
'only a short hour more.. not too much.'
with that being said i lay down and buried myself deeper into my blankets to escape the cold that had filled the air.
i stared up at the moon and surpressed another yawn before i let my attention drift to a single star. at the back of my mind, a wish was quietly made, but me being as tired as i was - i could not comprehend much of it. nor could i keep my eyes open for any longer.
i knew i wanted to see the sunrise but my cravings for sleep were much, much more stronger and it didnt take long before i drifted off completely nd crashed into the world known as dreamland.
and hell, dreamland it was. a weird dream about the full moon, a guy and a kiss that i could never imagine happening.
i awoke late, a smile - which i dont even know the reason behind - printed on my face.
something cold landed on my cheek. once. twice. three times. it spread, falling everywhere.
'what the --?'
confused, i opened my eyes, finding myself to be looking straight up at the gray, cloudless sky.
i blinked when i noticed little white dots falling down to earth.
'am i dreaming?' i wondered as i sat up, suddenly becoming very aware of the cold i was feeling. i shivered. 'why the hell did i fall asleep up here?'
i shook my head at myself as i glanced at my legs, finding them to be covered with something other than my brown fuzzy blanket.
'snow?'
i glanced around me, left, right, under, up... it was white everywhere.
i couldnt keep the laugh from escaping my throat. 'i had fallen asleep on the roof, and continued sleeping even though it had started snowing.... and people tell me i have a sleeping problem.'
i chuckled at myself and lay back down, my eyes slowly closing as more snow white crystals fell from the sky, landing on the ever so silent streets as i slowly allowed myself to fall back to sleep.
'a snow white slumber...'
