Drunken Review 17: Inu X Boku SS

After... receiving no more fan mails i tought it would be more than appropriate to write yet another review of pure nonsenseness's. But firstly i would like to thank everyone readings and commentings on these. And you who have not yet commented... i know you want to! I'll give you a kiss... come here....

Yes.. that is it! Your uncomfortable look on your face beckons me to move on. You are S!

Today i shall introduce the anime called Inu X Boku SS, which is also S, as you can notice from the double ss's!... oh I see what you did there Fujiwara sensei...

There is one awkward girl who moves into a house full of more awkward people. Ririchiyo-chan is a from a rich (read lots of moneys) but poor (read emotionally lacking) family. She can't tell her true feelings face to face, as she covers herself in a shroud of rudeness as she engages everyday relationships. The house is a fancy mansion, which is housed with other... people... who have had somewhat similar backgrounds to their names. This house is the "Ayakashi Kan". Here all is not what it seems, as the residents have all sorts of spiritual prowess. They are acompanied by Secret Service agents.

Ririchyouiuoa-chan has been assigned to a fox spirit Miketsukami-kun, who is weirdly obsessed about her like any true otaku would, and fun fun fun ensues. Inu X Boku is a romance comedy anime with two individuals overcoming their own faults, with the little help of some friends of course. The series follows Riririchiyo-chan stumbling towards with the help of his new dog Miketsukaminami-kun... why the hell are all the names so difficult!!!! As you probably can guess at this point, there might be something romantical developing between these two. Until... the fiendish Kagerou-sama appears. Now all raise hands who screamed "Sakata Gintoki kyaaaa!" when you heard him speak. I know i did.... yes indeed... and my neighbors know it too.

Other characters are quite enjoyable. I personally enjoyed most of them, and i feel no one was unnecessary. However, with a bit more thought and character development this would've been much better. Now we basically see everything focused on the mains... though what can you expect from a 12 episode show...

I enjoyed Inu X Boku quite a bit, though like many many other anime series... it gets more and more dull towards the end. However i was positively suprised by the show as a whole... i had my expectations, but it turned out to be rather nice in the end. I'm not going to mention anything about the musical score or animation... since they are rather average. But all in all, this is pretty solid show for the time it lasts.

You who comment, are S. Those who do not, are M. I know that i'm an S by giving 7 out of 10 for inuboku. Oh yes... Sorinozuka Renshou is the man! And he is an S... The screen staring back at me... is it an M? No! It is an S as it never blinks!
