7 Years ago prior to the current happenings a handful of people were involved in an accident that supposedly killed them. However they were not killed, instead they were sent to a parallel universe. In this parallel universe, the world is exactly the same but in an apocalypitic state, there are no people here, there exist only a being called the ghasts. Ghasts are like white blood cells of the parallel universe, eradicating foreign bodies, other than themselves. This followed the mass slaughter of the survivors of that incident, however some managed to escape the ghasts. Among them was Shinita Yuki, the protagonist of this story. Shinita Gains A Mysterious power in the events up to the 7 year timeskip, this power would eventually be called "break".

Breakers, or ability users began to emerge after the 7 years, no one knows why or how. The Ghasts also gained access to our universe, also with no explaination or warning. The balance of the universe hs been broken and It's up to Shinita and His power to fix it.
