Prologue
this is a story that just struck me and I had to write it. This just the prologue, so no juicy details yet
She walks slowly through the dark night, getting faster by each step. She hears the footsteps behind her start to speed up and soon enough, both her and her follower are running at a breakneck pace. Every step she takes, the man behind takes two. He's bigger, faster and stronger than her. He's gaining and soon she knows that she will be caught soon, but she keeps on going. She can't stop. Not now. Not ever.
She will never be caught by him again.
