Chapter 1: Wolves In The Prairie

OKay, I had this dream and I decided to write about it, i'm going to continue writing the other story, but I got a bit tired of it so i'm going to write them both, tell me if you like this 
Wolves in the prairie? No way in hell, I was in charge of the sheeps that night and I had no idea how to kill a wolf. Guns, I needed a gun, did I have a gun? Not that I know of, damn it.
-That is one damn strange wolf, what do you think sis?- I asked, I wasn’t sure my sis was still awake, but it was worth a try., I was kinda scared.
-I know right? Its like blue- She said. Okay, I was not alone.
-What should we do? I don’t wanna kill it.-
-Ummm, maybe go over there and throw things at them?- She suggested.
-Yeah, that’s like offering yourself to it, it'll eat us before we can throw a stick..- Damn, we were in trouble, and everyone else was asleep. It was just me and my twin.
-Oh, no… Look again sis, its not one, there are five of them. They are all really strange.- She said.
-They're heading this way sis, quick, do something!- She yelled. I was in charge so she relied on me.
-Ummm, I'll go out there and see what I can do, wait here and if something happens wake dad up okay?- I said as I grabbed the knife dad had given me and disappeared through the entrance door.
Wolves, wolves. I hated wolves, I was scared of wolves. I had something to settle with all the damned wolves that killed my mother, yes, this was my chance, this weren’t the wolves that had done that to my mom, but it would be enough.
They were close now. They stopped moving. One of the wolves started growling, then another one growled and they both stopped. Another one started whining, and the bigger one, the first one we'd seen started backing away, and he was soon followed by the others. No, those weren’t the wolves I was looking for; the one I was looking for had evil in his eyes. These wolves had everything but evil in their eyes, I would never forget those eyes. I watched as the wolves disappeared in the woods and headed back to the house.
-Oh my god, I didn’t think you were going to make it sis, you were so close to them. Were they the ones that…- Fallyn had a hard time talking about our mother's death, she was fishing with my dad, so she hadn’t been there.
-No, they weren’t, I don’t think they're coming back, they were strange.- I said. -I'm going to bed Fally.- I climbed the stairs to our room quietly so my dad wouldn’t wake up and opened the door to my room.
-I wont leave you alone sis, I know that face of yours. I wasn’t there the day it happened, but I can still help you get through tonight okay?- Fally yelled from the kitchen.
I was lucky I had such a sister, she understood me completely, and she was there for me, I totally needed that now, this night would not be pretty. Every time I remember something about my mom's death or anything like that, I started having flashbacks of the night my mom was killed. It was not a thing I enjoyed, and even thought this happened a lot, I wasn’t used to it, and I will never be. Fally joined me in our room and got inside my bed.
-Come here sis, there is no reason to go through this alone okay?- She whispered sweetly. Ever since she noticed I experienced flashbacks, she had been this way.
-Okay, thanks sis.- Was all I could say before I got caught up in a flashback. I knew this one very well. Fally got out of bed and hugged me. She started mumbling something but I couldn’t listen, I was listening to the growl of that infernal wolf that took my mother away from me.

-Keira, honey, me and Fally are going fishing.- My dad said.
-Okay Liam, did you ask Alayna if she wants to go?- My mother said.
-Yes, she says she'd rather stay here and help you hand the laundry.- My dad answered.
-Have a good time you two.- I said as they walked towards the river.
-Okay Laynie, I'll race you to the laundry!- My mom exclaimed. She was always up for a race. I ran and beat her, of course, I was six, she always let me win.
-Ohh, you're just too fast for me Laynie, you should participate in a race, I bet you would win.- She said as she picked the laundry basket.
-No mommy, you shouldn’t carry heavy things, you're pregnant.- I said, I had this very clear at that time, and I had been waiting for this little brother or sister for eight months now, I was not willing to lose it because of a laundry basket.
-You're right, you're right, sorry. I know how much you want this baby.- She apologized. -I know, I'll tie a rope to the basket and we can drag it, okay?- She proposed.
-Okay, you're really smart mommy- I said.
She tied the rope and we started pulling, three minutes later we had dragged it to where the hanging ropes were tied. I was too short to reach them, so I gave the things to my mom and she hung them.
-Okay, we're done Laynie, good job!- My mom said as she picked the empty laundry basket up and left it on the kitchen.
-What now mommy?- I asked.
-Lets watch the clouds, they're extremely puffy today, see?- She said as she pointed at the clouds.
-Yaaaaay!- I yelled. I lay down on the grass and my mom hugged me.
-What do you see honey?- She asked sweetly.
-I see.. Ummm- At the time, I couldn’t recognize the shapes of the clouds, but there was a fang and a skull shaped cloud.
-I know I see a tree shaped one over there, see?- My mom asked.
-Oh yes, you're really good at this mommy I----
I was cut off by a sound that gives me the creeps until today, a husky growl. It was so loud that it pierced my ears and it made the ground shake. So strong and filled with fury and killer instinct that it made your heart stop beating.

-Alayna, sis, wake up, please, it's not real, it’s a nightmare, wake up, please.- Fally screamed. She was crying, and she was shaking me.
-I'm okay, I'm okay. Sorry sis, I got carried away.- I said and I started sobbing.
-What's going on girls? What's all the screaming about?- My dad asked, he knew about the flashbacks too.
-It's Laynie, there were some wolves in the prairie and she went outside and-- Fally explained.
-Oh, I get it, I get it.- He said as he picked me up and sat in my bed. He always did this when I was having flashbacks. I was crying and he wiped my tears away. He was holding me like a baby and my twin was running her fingers through my hair.
-I'm sorry dad and Fally, but I don’t know what to do.- I apologized.
-Don’t worry sis, we're okay with this.- Fally said.
-I think this is going to be a long night, am I right?- My dad joked, he always knew how to make us laugh, and we did.
