Distorted Mirror

I glimpsed gold given by green.
Walked through smirking atmosphere.
At what? Maybe my perception of wishing.
For having convivial thoughts,
opposing dismal minds.
It's not like I waited too long for it.
The sidewalk arched back through.
Absorbed the this and that of what was there.
And I could barely breathe through the impact.
But oxygen returned,
soon, enough, too much.
Then I was here
while never there.
