Warning to anime-only fans, spoilers ahead.

Hunter X Hunter's manga perked up quite a bit after Killua went to his Dad to ask to see Alluka, his little sister. Frankly I'm relieved that the plot is picking up - the Zodiacs and Pariston are interesting, and Ging's antics are both ludicrous and impressive, but the best plot line development thus far in the current arc is the one involving Killua and Alluka.

I was concerned how the manga would fare without the main protaGONist....

I'm having a blast downloading One Piece's new episodes for the Fishman Island arc and streaming Hunter X Hunter 2011 episodes. Obviously, I intend to keep the One Piece episodes while I only want to watch the Hunter X Hunter 2011 episodes.

That does not reflect my personal preference between the two - in fact, I would have a hard time comparing One Piece to Hunter X Hunter. It's just that One Piece has finally moved on to the point where the Mugiwara crew finally get back together...
