Werewolf: The Forsaken - The Legend of Father Wolf

The Legend of Father Wolf
The legends tell of a time long ago when the world was a paradise known as Pangaea, where the worlds of flesh and shadow mingled freely, the perfect wilderness for the greatest hunter.
Balance was kept by Father Wolf, a being from the Shadow Realm of great power, who patrolled the borders between the worlds, with teeth and claws he pushed the mortals back into safety of the world of flesh and suppressed the mightiest of spirits who would dare to disturb it. His eyes were said to burn with supernatural strength and conviction, the righteous rage that made him the greatest hunter there ever was.
Mother Luna, spirit of the moon, was enchanted by the paradise beneath her and so she descended to the world in the form of a woman to wander the jungles and plains as the most beautiful creature in the world. In the Border Marches between the worlds, they meet and fell in love.
And from their union the Uratha were born. Beings part flesh and part spirit, part man and part wolf.
From Mother Luna the Uratha gained the ability to change their shape, like she does each month. And from Father Wolf they gained senses, strength and speed that went beyond that of the flesh-born. After giving birth, Mother Luna returned to the skies and Father Wolf raised the First Pack. He taught the first Uratha the ways of man and wolf, flesh and spirit. He showed them the roads from the Shadow Realm through forest, mountain or desert into the world of flesh, down trails to the tribal homes of men.
The Uratha lived in a state of pure grace in the paradise of the young world, but as the years went by some of Father Wolf's children saw that he had become weak, and to prevent him failing in his duties as the guardian of the Border Marches, they rose against him and in great numbers they slew him, intending to take his place. With his last breath, Father Wolf let out a monstrous howl that sundered the very fabric of the worlds and between them rose the Gauntlet, a barrier separating the worlds of the spirits and the flesh.
Mother Luna, stricken with grief, cried out in anguish and betrayal as she cursed the Uratha, a curse that would never be lifted.
The earth shook and storms lashed the land, ice broke free from the north and islands sank into the ocean. Pangaea, the paradise of the world was no more and this act shall forever be remembered by the Uratha who became known as, The Forsaken.
