A&D Season Summary

Now that we're at the sixth season of A&D, some things have changed, and although you don't need to know anything about the previous seasons to fully participate in the rp, I have compiled a summary of past seasons to explain how things have progressed.
Members who were in previous seasons may keep some of their past memories of previous lives, or themselves if they survived.


Season 1: Demons came to earth to offer humans their power in order to assist them in granting otherwise nigh impossible wishes. While the terms of the contract were clear, absolute obedience from the demon, the price was not. Many of the contractors were unsure of their fate, bud did not care. Ultimately the contractors generally met with disaster, sometimes taking their demon servants with them. What happened to their souls is questionable.
Season 2: The souls lost by the intervention of demons caused angels to manifest directly into the world, rather than require summoning by the faithful. While they would sometimes offer assistance, they would never enter contracts the way demons still do, and sought to purge the world of all contractors and their servants. As hostilities inflamed the nation surrounding the characters was engulfed in a massive civil war. The entire state eventually burned down, and when the flames finally began to die the last of the now dying contractors wondered what the mystery was behind the destruction briefly before their end.
Season 3: Humanity had shown its determination and was granted a boon from an unknown source. It prevented disaster from being the only future for those who contracted demons, and open paths previously closed to empower humans further. Members were invited specifically to an estate which was soon closed off from the world by an unnatural storm. As they tried to unravel the mysteries of the place they faced unworldly danger, and not only in the form of angels or demons amongst them. The power they all sought after was to be awarded to whoever had the will to take it, whether it be human, or otherwise.

Season 4: Demons, angels, and humans had proven to be equally promising in capability, though it was only through humanity that the other two gained reason for existence. Railways that could lead to any future the passengers desired appeared, and some inhuman beings sought humanity, and escape. While there was no clear cut power as a reward this time, there was more open intervention by some other force at work, and information that could be found with effort. This information would prove to be destructive as it was important however, as once it was unleashed to humanity Gods intervened and tore the fates they had created asunder.

Season 5: (twisted fates) Actions in the previous season caused all those though worthy by the unknown force to gain new life as humans once again, or for the first time. They were born into a world of torn futures, devastated by unbridled powers of chaos and order, split in two as a war of demons and angels was fought openly on all planes. The unknown force decided to make itself known by appearing to the members in a vaguely human form of pure light, stating they could not hope to comprehend it as anything else. It gave them memories of their past lives and allowed them to relive their failed ends in order to alter those fates. These alterations gave birth to a new timeline, and the world slowly began to recover. Before they could investigate how their actions altered the world however, reality gave way under pressure of escalating interventions. The being froze their world in order to prevent its utter destruction and began to transfer their existences into its own personal memories, or reality.

Season 6 (This season- Akasha Truths)
Astounded by the power of free will and choice that humanity has demonstrated, the being brought members into its own recollection of events, on the day that it managed to make a conscious decision to intervene in the world. Members will see a "truth" from this source, and make the choice to accept it as reality, or attempt to alter it with their own hands. What this will cause, is unknown.
