The company you were working for
is facing an tragedy unlike before
for you the curtain certainly will fall
your demise was the only pleading sound

I stood in the middle of this all
a single raindrop on a plate to fall
the ground around us wasn't dead
it showed us a symbol of new life
flower buds that would always survive
