One More Weekend - the Academy is.....


So pretty much I needed to get out....big time. Our plan was to go to an "underground " (Covers) Battle of the bands then with the prize money head over to Las Vegas and party.

I would explain what happened day to day, but no one cares for details that much :P, so I'll explain the battle of the bands and the Tale of the Pricks named "RavenStab"

With started off with, I think 13 bands
and a total of 6 rounds with eliminations until the finals, each round having it's own theme.

The First Round: Freestyle
It was a pretty good round, I mean everyone had a good sound and all, i think one band did a good paramore cover, for a guy I mean I've never imagined a gorilla looking guy to be singing CrushCrushCrush.......it was a life changing experience.

The first song we played was F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. to the request of LuluRules :P besides it was a good choice since we were called first, We played a Fast Tempo Song and got the crowd pumped, so all the assholes playing slow songs......SUCK IT!

needless to say we advanced, simply.

The Second Round: The Beatles ( of f*cking course......)
Just to make it short: Everyone played one song off "Abbey Road"
cept us.....
We played "While my guitar Gently Weeps"....the others sucked a fat one, and it wasn't schnitzel.
The Third Round: Strictly Oldies (we called it Vintage)
Now here's when RavenStab started having bullshit songs, Oldies: Oldies tunes are typically from R&B, pop and rock music genres. Country, jazz, classical music, and other formats are generally not considered oldies music.

Cockstab played "Livin on a Prayer" and got away with it......*facepalm*

The Fourth Round: Guitar Arena (basically heavy rifts)
You know even though i haven't really been playing guitar much anymore, these guys are horrible at keeping beat and tempo and CANT STOP ****ING USING THE SCREECH EFFECT. FFS.

Well We played the Intro to "Money for Nothing" and a little Guitar Hero Favorite "Push Push (Lady Lightning)" it was pretty awesome, considering we went last.

The Fifth round: Pop-tastic (i thought it sound fruity, then i was hungry for Pop tarts)
Now B*tchstab struck again, i mean Who knew Green Day was Pop......yeah 21 guns is definitely Pop... God damn, I digress.

We Played Hot N' Cold >.> I sang it......shut up.... Lulu said it was girly D;......but damn it was girly :O.....i felt straight singing it though D:....Katy Parry is a Lesbian? nah, probably not.

The Finals: Heavy Metal (Aka: Judges Don't know shit)
Oh god it was horrible, Ravenstab made it into the finals...... probably sucked some cock to get in -_- ewww.

So we played "War Pigs" in all it's glory "Generals Gathers in their masses!! (dramatic pause) D:..... JUST LIKE B*TCHES at black masses :O (okay i really sang that, but I slipped D:::::: ) you know i thought we would win.

Ravenstab played "St. Anger........" if that was bad...they sang it in the tone of Marylin Manson meets Korn they had a baby and Had sex with justin beiber and was into Screamo.......That was the Tone of the song........FFS How did you win?! I mean the Judges must have been tonedeaf from those blowjobs......





*sigh* i digress.....really I do, I was thinking of starting a brawl but **** it :/......just **** it : (

Encored: We got an encore but we didn't play, the audience understood cus when Assstab went up to do their encore.....everyone left :hehe:


well that was the Battle of the Bands :/
