Ok, gonna ask here since i know a few computer guys are around here.
HOW IN THE ****ING HELL DO I GET UNBUNTU TO WORK WITH MY WIRELESS CARD?!?!?!?!
Seriously, i've tried every single ****ing thing i could think of! (I spent a good 2 hrs of my time trying to get it to work, with all the suggestions i got from the help icon, and idea's i though of. NOTHING WORKED!)
Can someone explain to me, in step by step direction's, how tha **** i get it to work??!

Laptop or desktop?
What version of ubuntu?
What model wireless card? -built in wireless or separate card?
Is your computer identifying the card at all?
Does it see an unidentified device that you think is the card?

it was a trouble for me, although i had ubuntu 8.10 with the KDE desktop environment. i was dual booting with windows vista. upon learning that it couldn't identify either my ethernet card or wireless card i I found out about a nifty little thing called NDIS wrapper, it took the driver's i needed from my vista OS and made them available for use for ubuntu,and it worked.Although you'd have to have a microsoft os
