can you die if you stabbed yourself above your belly button

with out getting right away or would you just bleed to death
cause in movies people live with just scars =D

	Drinking till u get drunk stabbing yourself with a 4inch knife and pulling it out plus not getting help right away im 100% sure u will die in less then 30 mins unlike the movies
