This laptop I bought has given me no problems, it was also £700 cheaper than a mac.. I think I'll survive without one.

Nat: Haha okay okay. How much does a macbook cost where you are? Cos I got mine for about SGD1600, inclusive of everything (and microsoft office for mac, 4GB RAM etc etc)

    Btw SGD1 = £0.4. about there..

Oh and zeon, rule number one about pop ups: Don't Click. I don't know, perhaps you should clear your cookies and re-scan your whole com for any potential viruses..

When I bought my laptop they were £1000, the cheapest macbook I can get now is £749 which has half the statts of my current laptop. I really don't need to think about it tbh.

Yeah I had it a few days back, hasn't happened in a little while though, I asked in the reporting problems section but no answer.

I haven't got them yet as of today. Let me know if you keep getting them. I believe I killed all of those fake antivirus ads already, but some seem to slip through.

Trying to Help you Find a Solution

Well Since nobody its posting any type of fix ill try it!!

Just a Note this posible fix is for InternetExplorer Only since i havent meet the day i need any other Browser rather than IE for Vista. if you have Safari then please send me a Messege to Post Safari Solutions. any other Browser my Sincerely Apologize cannot Help!!! Tough they might have some similarity to this Steps look for them

    Posible Fix:
    > Go to "Tools"
    > Select "Internet Options" (Bottom of List)
    > In the main Page look for "Exploration History"
    > Select "Erase"
    > Erase Everything but "Passwords" and
    "Formulary Data"

*Passwords are all that passwords that you have input to be remembered on some sites
*Formulary Data same stuff doesnt need to be erased if you dont mind writing your IDs on many many other sites over again

After all that Check Security & Privacy Tabs
    > Go to "Tools"
    > Select "Internet Options" (Bottom of List)
    > Select "Security Tab"
    > Check that the Level is on "Med-High"
    > Enable "Protected Mode" if is Unchecked

    > Now Select "Privacy Tab"
    > Level Should be on "Medium" Select
"Medium High" if Desired, anything beyond
That should be Annoying blocking of wanted
    Stuff

Erasing the SSL State would fix some annoying stuff too
    > Go to "Content Tab"
    > Look for "Certificate"
    > Select "Erase SSL State"

Hope this might Help you and Some of the Others guys Problems too
**This is not any type of harming intent All of this Steps are Instructed by Microsoft.com if you dont trust me
