complete shows broken

well i just noticed that a few shows have all mirrors for almost every episode broken (like bleach / fruit basket)
it took me a whole day to add mv mirrors for bleach and i don't really know if it is just these shows or a bigger problem for many older episodes/shows that the mirrors don't work anymore
so if you got the same problem with shows you are watching (or would like to watch^^) feel free to post it here so that either i or someone else can fix it

P.S.: if a thread like this already exists just close this one and tell me where^^

We keep adding files and they keep getting nuked, i think we should host our own files for older anime as they don't get much traffic compared to newer ones so maybe few shared virtual servers would be good

We'll see what the site admin has in mind

yes that would be a good idea^^ it's really a pain in the ass to keep checking your mirrors.
just checked 100 mirrors two day after i added them and only 17 where still working... that's not normal *sniff* i checked every single one before i added it...

Yeah sadly this has been going for quite a while like that it is really frutrating especially if you someone that likes going back to catching some older eps every now and again, or even completely new members/visitors looking to catch some series, like Bleach, from the beginning. Matter of fact, if it wasn't for some of your uploads I would have had a real ill evening b/c I happened to be in one of 'watch old fight battles' mood (particularly Kenpachi fights ), and most of other mirrors didn't work--so much appreciate that (effort did not go unnoticed! ). I honestly get so annoyed with frequently having to report (or either post about) whole volumes of eps broken. And the links for downloading are in no better shape either....

I can't even dl any of the HD version of Bleach--unless they are the later eps--at all.

Certainly not a bad idea; something different has to definitely be done b/c I'm sure that not only is it a pain the ppl that have to keeping checking back and uploading, but also ppl that either haven't seen older eps or want to see them again, and only to be disappointed by broken links.

maybe it would be nice to implement a tool that helps ppl to manage their mirrors added on AC.
like showing a list of them so you can check them easier and don't have to search which eps you got... or even better some way to check mirrors without watching because that takes a lot of time^^
but i can't really imagine how that should work or if it is even possible... for now it would be nice to get a note or something when someone notices that on of your mirrors is broken.
don't know if those buttons for flagging mirrors finally work now... and does anyone know what happens then? i have no idea

Y'know, to be honest I'm not even sure if there's any effectiveness to that freakin' report button at all. Lord knows I hit that thing way more than enough times, lol, but seriously it's not like you get any sort of status or anything other than a 'thanks for reporting' type message. I really don't know what sorta goes on behind the scene though once it's reported--like who it gets flagged to or if anybody even knows. It seems like every time I've hit it days (even weeks) later nothing changes.

but like you said just god knows what happens with that report... there could at least be a sign next to the broken mirrors or something like that -.-
you don't get an error from the browser that there is something wrong/didn't work but even so there is no way to be sure

All the report button is get rid of the link if enough people report it.
