However, I made this topic in this Chinese section ... just to introduce some good Chinese dramas that I like and hope this will help others to try out some Chinese dramas .... If these don't fit your taste, don't bother! ![]() A/C has several Asian dramas and you're free to choose what you like .... |

Thank you Ijun for dropping by, and recommending a new Chinese drama. I'll take a look at this drama as soon as I've got some free time... Thanks again Ijun & have a happy stay at A/C.

My favourite Chinese drama would have to be ZHEN GUAN CHANGE GE. You'd probably have to buy it, but it was worth every cent to me. I'll undoubtedly watch it again. If you put that title in your search engine, you can read about it on wiki.d-addicts. Another really good one that I happily have in my library (and will watch again) is SEVEN SWORDS OF MOUNT HEAVEN. You can find out about that on wiki.d-addicts, too. I don't think either on is available for online viewing; more's the pity. Both are period/historical dramas.

I just finished 2 old period/ancient dramas which are really good and feel like rewatching ~ The Mischievous Princess/My Bratty Princess and The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre 2003. Though these 2 dramas were aired years ago, I somehow couldn't watch it for one reason or another, only watched a few scenes here and there. But it turned out to be very interesting and addictive. The first one is a comedy drama whereas the second is wuxia. These two dramas reminds me why I enjoyed period dramas so much cos the later made dramas out there now are just mediocre at best and no matter how good looking the actor or actress maybe they lack in chemistry. |

I watched different versions of Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre... somehow I still like the 1980's version ... even though the special effects were nothing compared to the most recent version... ^.^ As for The Mischievous Princess, I really like both the princess & the king characters; the princess is full of energy, and cleverness & the king is very witty ... 2 main characters who are smart and kind ... It's very rare to find characters like those 2 in most historical dramas... that I've seen so far... Thank you ijun for your comments.
