Default [Dicussion]The Four

[TVB]The Four:

Main Male Cast:
Raymond Lam - Mou Ching (Heartless)
Ron Ng - Lang Huet (Cold Blooded)
Kenneth Ma - Tit Sau (Steel Hand)
Sammul Chan - Zhui Ming (After Life)

Main Female Cast:
Selena Li
Kate Tsui

Another awesome ancient series.

Plot:
The series has been adapted from the popular martial arts novels written by Wen Ruian (溫瑞安) and will tell the early stories about the four great constables: "Heartless" Shing Ngai-Yue (盛崖餘), "Metal Hand" Tit Yau-Ha (鐵游夏), "Life Chaser" Chui Leuk-Sheung (崔略商) and "Cold Blood" Lang Ling-Hei (冷凌棄)

Cold, witty, and intelligent, “Emotionless Cripple” Mou Qing (Raymond Lam) was crippled at a young age. Fortunately, Marquis Chu Kot (Dominic Lam) fostered and taught him the knowledge of secret weapons. Chu Kot received merits when he successfully retrieved an important relic of the Song dynasty and hence re-established the Divine Constable Department. First, he recruited his disciple Mou Qing, then the cunning conman “Life Chaser” Zhui Ming (Sammul Chan), the honest and kind “Iron Hand” Tit Sau (Kenneth Ma), and the aloof yet agile “Cold Blooded” Lang Huet (Ron Ng). They were formally given the title of “The Four Great Constables”.

IMO.

I expected much more twists on the plot & plenty of intelligent reactions from Heartless ...
I'd give this drama 3 stars on the scale of 5.

yeah,i watched it a while ago and its still fresh in my mind
it was pretty good but i felt they needed to go more in depth when it come to Life chaser and Cold blood
also, the ending was kinda disappointing.some say there could be a second one but i kinda doubt it,what do you think?

Spoiler
I don't think there will be a second one in my opinion because of the way it ended. The Four stayed back to defend the King. They were going against an army, I don't think they were capable of defeating them unless Heartless(Raymond Lam) made a few of that ultimate weapon

This is your typical friendly/fate rivalry story
Spoiler
I hate how Kate Tsui deceived Raymond Lam over and over again but he still liked her

I don't think there's a sequel too. I would say the actors are fine but the actresses need to improve on their acting. I'm pretty surprised that TVB will choose some amateurs as main leads. Otherwise, I will say it's quite a good show and worth your time watching it.

This show looks really interesting and the cast handsome. I am going to have to add this to my list of shows to watch.
