Synposis
Robs the rich and gives the poor.he's more than just a thief
Fights against injustice and crime.he's more than just a cop

A sum of drug money triggers battle of wits between Kwong Yeung (Joe Ma) and Ko Chi (Damian Lau), a detective and a thief. Yeung gradually discovers the true identity of Chi is a mob chief who uses the restaurant business to cover his illegal activities. Despite all efforts, Yeung lacks sufficient evidence to support allegations against Chi. Nevertheless Yeung keeps a close eye on Chi and believes in the ultimate triumph of good over evil. Yeung's devotion to his work sours his relationship with his wife Hong Mei-Lei (Fala Chen). Fortunately, Lei is given support and encouragement by her best friend Bao Yung-Yung (Idy Chan). Chi is deeply attracted to Yung's kind-hearted personality. He even risks exposing his secret identity to save her life. There is a choice between love and ideal...

first of all...this drama ending is perfect in my opinion
but...well very very sad but perfect.
anyway.any cantonese speakers here?if any.i got a question...
do mandarin and cantonese pspeackers understand each other
after watching this drama am planning on studying cantonese since i fell for its beauty and musical elegance but part of me tells me i wont be able to communicate with everyone versus if i studied mandarine
any help?!!
again,is it just me or did you guys cry and felt very sad for a good period after BT's death?

you'll need to understand both language ... I thought it was a fake death lol ... since he's smart and all.

I can't believe BT died...
He still don't know that his gf has begin to forgive him for hiding his identity....

any other good dramas were the guy who played BT (johnson lee i think) play a major or support rule in?any in this site?
2nd-well,do you guys suggest starting to learn mandarin or cantonesse?which one?
3rd- i really hate the producers,they made sure that the audience will fall for the BT personality,he was funny,carefree,smart,and had that english thing going every now and then which made even more funny.at the same time they made sure that we will expect that if anything bad happen it would be to KO Chit,they made it seem so time and time again.yet when shit hit the fan we were cought off guard with BT dying in a matter of seconds.
smart but really evil,this could make this my first and last time i watch drama or if not am not gonna be able to enjoy as much since unconsiously i'll be very carefull not to like a charachter too much.

1)Here are some which he is in-->Devil's Disciples (TVB, 2007) and Forensic Heroes (TVB, 2006) ...Both are good...
2) Personal Preference (Fyi-->one who knows mandarin may not know cantonese and one who knows cantonese will usually knows mandarin too)
