Yes, Lib, u will need pizza delivered and remember my advice re. getting work done b4 starting on this one... it is so addictive, u'll be bingeing on it for the next 2-3 days to finish it and once it is finished, u will be left with a sad feeling but good memories of the drama. Do not forget the tissue box, especially the last 3 episodes are killers. I still cry re-watching them!

p.s: u'll get past the bald, ponytails. unfortunately, tat's Qing dynasty for u. they r not Han chinese but manchu ppl hence the weird customs and hairstyle. i do not particularly like the baldness and ponytails as well and was hesitating to start this one when i saw it had started but after reading the episode summaries in a chinese blog, i got interested and true enough, the story and acting captured me! u shud get all the episodes as this drama ended months ago in china and around 1 month ago in taiwan.

Dear Aryael,

I just wanted to write you this letter to let you know you have completely ruined me. Overnight I have become addicted to this show, even with its bad green screen. LOL

I have errands to run and I don't want to go. I have things I need to be doing and I don't want to do them. Work? PFFFTT. What is that? Eat? Who needs that? I have to be watching the show. Que up the next episode.

Also, I am stuck. The 4th prince? The 8th prince? The 13th prince? OMG, the 10th prince?! And, that 14th prince! Gawd... someone save me. I am not sure who I love more. It's liking being in a candy shop and asking which candy you like best.

So thanks Aryael, I now have become a zombie on a couch. I blame this on you - and the 4th & 8th prince. It's a conspiracy!!

Hmmm.... I wonder if now is a good time to mention that the story gets better as twists are revealed.......BUT I'll leave you to find those twists out yourself, dear Lib. muahahaha *evil laughters*

Oh my fricking gawd!! This is THE BEST story I have ever watched. Holy crap! I am blubbering like a complete idiot over here! That show was worth every minute, and then some, of my time.

I had to watch through quite a few episodes where there were no subs or less than 30% subs. Who cares? You could tell what was going on. Aryael, when you said it gets better as it goes, you were not lying.

Wow... just WOW! Amazing. Truly. I thought Secret Garden was a grand love story but it has now been replaced. This tops ANY and ALL other dramas I have ever watched. As soon as the rest of the subs come out I am going to re-watch the whole thing again. As soon as I see this on DVD with English subs I am buying it.

The only complaint I had was the there were some scenes with cheap green screen and one seriously bad animation scene, but aside from those minor hiccups, this is now my all-time favorite drama PERIOD.

Watching this drama now, only just got done with episode 3 but wow I can admit i'm loving this drama and can see myself getting more and more addicted with each passing episode. Will write more when I see more episodes (:

Glad you loved it! I have re-watched this like the 3rd time now and I have the original DVDs with me... bought online. I am happy to know that I am not the only crazy one around here who loves this drama to distraction! I'd recommended this to ams and she said she will watch it ASAP once she's done with her visitors and her visit overseas. I sure hope she gets a piggyback ride (at least) from her travels!
