Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given. --Tokyograph

So, as of late I've been introduced to Japanese Drama, and I would to have some decent recommendations, especially with the amount of boredom I usually experience.

Any series will do as long as it includes a decent amount of delinquency, and action.

Note: do not worry, for I have yet to see any movies/series other than the Crows Zero movies, and Gokusen(sequels/specials too).

So, by all means, recommend away.

Hello,

As you might have noticed in the title above I'm looking for more Drama's which are similar to Koishite Akuma. (Realy loved it, tho the ending made me release a few tear... and to be honest I never cryed for a movie or drama before, so it showed how good it was for me ;))

But I will get back on the topic :P.

I'm looking for a drama, doens't mater if it's japanese/korean/taiwanese/chinese, I know that this is for japanese drama post only so if it's in one of the other languages you can send it to me in an private message.

just making sure that I won't be responsible for anyone breaking the forum rules ;)

(it be great if it was Fantasy/Romance and even better if it was Fantasy/Romance/High School just like Koishite Akuma :p (No kung fu drama's please, currenly watching too many of them ))

My deffintion of kung fu drama's : The drama takes place back in 10th - 16th century, using samurai swords and shurikens... powerfull chi punches and the 100km flying jump ^^

I thank you in advance for any recommedation you will post,

Thank you :D
