Well, maybe Gajeel's false information had to do with how weak RT was, that or they were planning to fight the members who stayed during the 7 years, that would explain why Kurohebi can use Max's sand.

Well, anyway. It seems that RT's roll was 1) troll fairy tail, making them the underdog with their tricks. And 2) tell us about "Dark" side of FT.

I still hope they have some roll later.

Well at least this little thing Cobra used before he got taken away should have a role later on as long as we aren't getting trolled of course.
