From what I saw, anime is still really close to the manga, so I guess fillers will be going on for quite some time still?

It's not exactly high-bandwidth, I just have really low bandwidth until the 23rd.
Anyway, it's a guy who reviews (usually)old movies(usually bad ones) in an entertaining way.
He also does quite a lot of crossover reviews with his many partners whenever the subject matter demands it.

I'd put out a spoiler warning, but you've probably seen the latter and shouldn't bother with the former.

Anyway, on topic, since I'm not actively watching this arc, what's going on now?

Actually I never got around to watching Ponyo and totally forgot about it. I'll watch the first review later on though since I obvs have no intention of watching a Digimon movie.

The arc's really gotten pretty good imo. (It's up there as far as filler goes anyway.) Now that the true villains have been revealed & now some people are winning and others are losing their battles against them. Doranbalt and Lahar have gotten involved too, and they've found someone I presume will be important later. Prior to the fights that are going on right now, Cana made up some really random teams. (Wendy and Bixlow??? ) using her (drunken) fortune telling magic and sent them all to different churches. Last I remember, Gildarts and the wood-make girl (whose name I can't remember) made a very interesting discovery at the church they were sent to.

I just want to add: That discovery was probably not unexpected for most people.

Still fighting Oracion Seis on all fronts.
It's interesting how we got to see Lily and Sammy in big forms, but not Happy or Charla.
Wish they'd get big soon ^^
Seems like Grim Reaper got mind controlled into doing all that.
Guess there is a bigger power behind the scene pulling all the strings.
So the infinity clock finally got released and the end is coming...
The masks have fallen and it sure was a surprise.

As far as we know, Lily is the only Exceed capable of that form. Sammy's filler so he doesn't count.

I don't mind if Happy develops some useful power but I don't want it to be a copy of somebody else.

@Mreaper: Do you intend to catch up on this filler arc? It's reaching the climax now.

RE the new ep:
So somebody is manipulating everyone through their dreams. Possibly even all of the new-OS members. It was ridiculously obvious something was off about Michelle all this time but I don't know why Happy last week and then others this week were saying "something isn't right." What could possibly not be right from their perspective? They weren't given any information that should have made them suspect (yet) that their Michelle was an imposter, were they?

Anyway, I wonder if the real Michelle Lobster is related to Lucy (even if only in filler).

And having seen his parents, he clearly doesn't have the genes.

Not really. Unless it contains a plot point that the anime will keep bringing up, I think I'll stay blissfully unaware.
