Yuusha No Densetsu no Yuusha is a pretty good one. The ending just seems kinda... cut-off. Also, I recommend Beelzebub. Not really like FT but a lot of humour and main character is just awesome.

Fairy Tail is the poor man's version of One Piece, so yah watch OP

That's not really a fair criticism given how much One Piece took from Dragonball.

As for recommending anime, it depends on what you like about Fairy Tail; the fights, the music, the characters ( and if so, why ), the setting?
