You see, child, this behemoth is not like any other monster, it's highly resilient to magic and is very durable, so no mere blade can penetrate it. My cohorts and I were already worn out from our previous encounter with an ancient gold dragon, somehow managing to escape from it for approaching too close to its brood. There was nowhere to rest, and we were out of items to replenish ourselves fully. It was truly an arduous trial to face the behemoth that came out at us from behind.

Well, when the behemoth roared with it's mighty breath, we were paralyzed in chaotic fear. Daring to turn around to take a quick glance at our foe before tried to make our escape, I dropped both of my blades when I gazed upon the monstrosity that was the behemoth. It's eyes were ablaze with animosity, it's jaws clenching the head of the gold dragon we failed to conquer, standing high above us. There was no need to tell the others of what this foul creature was, for they would have not believed me unless they looked upon it themselves. Nearly a day passed by when I was staring in its eyes, but in reality it was barely seconds before I heard another deafening roar.

I slowly, ever so slowly, nudged the arm of the companion beside me. I dared not advert my gaze, yet all life could have been lost. Time was frozen, and it did not seem if he felt it, but after what seemed like hours, he finally responded. I barely pursed my lips open and spoke with clenched teeth, telling him what stood before me and what stood behind him while watching the behemoth crunch down upon the skull of the gold dragon splattering blood upon its snout. I don't know why, maybe because he knew I would never lie about something so serious, or if he turned around himself, he believed me. Eventually he came to tell the remaining two in our party of the beast and they believed me as, or should I say him, as well. That was when the beast finally took a step forward.
