And you're missing the point , every martial arts has the power to defend themselves in danger situations , or else it wouldn't be called martial arts.

The very foundations of martial arts were for self defence , so EVERY martial arts has the ability to self defence it self in any danger situations . That doesn't give the right for comparing either one . Martial arts has its own weaknesses and benefits , just because you watch UFC and see a lot of brazilian jiujutsu in there , it doesn't give you the right to be ignorant and try to bash in to other martial arts . They all differ and all have different uses of fighting corresponding to their martial arts , it's like you're trying to compare a fight between a mouse and a mouse . You simply CANNOT compare martial arts with eachother because they have different ways of fighting.

I am saying that boxing is a bad form of self defence.
I am saying that Brassilian jiu jutsu have strengths that few other martial arts can compare too, like ground fighting, but they again suck at strikeing. that is one of my arguments. ( in a martial vs another part)

and to the compare part:
martial arts are there for u to know how to defend urself.

right? we agree on that one?

in different dangerous situations right?

boxing specialise in trading punches, avoiding them and being able to take blows and much more right?

but (here comes my point to why they can be compared) they have certain situations where u dont know what to do right? so I dont know, do boxing have subbmision defences? or something like that?

because if they dont, then that is a weakness right?

and brassilian jiu jutsu have poor training (maybe none) in punching while standing, so if u want the best training in self defence, u have to take these things into consideration, do u want to punch? do u want to grapple on the ground, and that is my point to why I belive they can be compared.

it is all for the sake of your self defence, and then u must compare them.
becuase u want to be able to defend urself in the best way.

for example, do u want to train in a martial art where all they do is train u from headbutting? or do u train for instance karate? that is a choice, bad example but it serves its purpose.

that is how I think of it, if u dont agree, then that is fine, then we can agree to disagree.

yeah , but in here you're comparing weaknesses , and if you would have said that from the beginning instead of bashing some martial arts , then i would have said that you are right about this

hehe, at first I was talking about the superioruty og brassilian jiu jutsu ground game, then it turned to self defence
