A place outside from any PD battlefields that could interfere with the process, a separate dimension. However I would be incapable of creating this instance since it would have to be on the field itself. That, is where you come in.

I cannot develop any technology to meet the prerequisites specific to this project without experimentation. I will go further into this project, and eventually I will need to test a prototype on a more potent opponent. And you will need to step in during this time.

If it's only a minor spacetime distortion, then you can just use the Unstable Warp Crystals I gave you. They distort the local spacetime.

And sure, let's go back.
