I see, the way the ethos were described earlier made it sounds like there was an extreme surplus of energy within the suits.

Yep. You can customize your armors weaponary however you see fit.

My thoughts too, combining bullets with my elemental air abilities would make them much more quick and powerful, and give me the ability to curve them.

That's one of the key feature for this group/game. We urge the player/roleplayer, to come up with new ways to defeat their opponent with the items given.

Example. A fire ethos equip himself with a flamethrower, the result to that is he has a constant but limit supply of fire to control.

And say you have a water and electric ethos next to each other. They can combine their elementals to create a devastating move. :\

The suits seem to be fitting for the Earth and Fire ETHOS, but wouldn't a more lightweight type of exoskeletal armor be more suited for Air and Water?

You can also get out of your armor if you need too. And if you lose your armor and say you kill a guy inside an armor without damaging it too much. You can drag his corpse out and wear it instead, but there might be some negative effects due to the fact that its not design for you. So there will be a lot of decision making.

i.e: So the ETHOS user gets snipe through his helmet and his armor is left intact. You come across it and now you have to thivk, Do I get in it and help my allies, but suffer long term damage. Or do I keep moving and avoid that possibility.

Sorry for the double post :\

That's just the default look to it. In the RP the user can customize the armor however they like. Which means they can me refitted and made lighter to increase movement and agility but that means sacrificing defense and armament.

I think there should be like 3 basic models..and then everything else is customizable

somehting like

light weight model
Pros - Fast evasive and attacking - hover mode - Stores solar energy quickly
cons - low defence and armament - holds less energy

middle weight model
pros - balance of offence and defence, as well has speed

heavy weight model
pros - high level defence and armament - can store lots of solar energy
cons - moves slowly - gathers solar energy at a slower rate

or something like that..of course it'd be more well thought out
