I hurl my sphere of fire at his shere and it explodes on impact. I then shunpo behind psp and slash downward at an angle, followed by a straight kick to the back that forces him away*

techniques has nothing to do with power. Listen: you say with one hit you melt the ice and turn water into vapor. it's fine, but it's 2 different hits, because you are at the same level (bleah) and hence have the same power. You need to use a certain amount of power to melt the ice, and more to turn the water into vapor.
