Yes. Seeing as you did it at the beginning of my chanting, there would've been some distance between us. So I jumped and used part of the Hirenkyaku to speed myself up and swiftly moved between them.

Aiming the gun at Andre once again, it's barrel warped, forming a large cannon-like apparatus. The sound of a muffled explosion was heard as a 1 foot diameter ball of Chi Metal flew at Andre, forming into a long lance mid-flight. "Shiaolong." Kyota said as a serpentine dragon spirit flew out of his body, wrapping Kyota in a bright light. As the light subsided, Kyota's body had grown dragon's wings and claws, and his skin had hardened into Dragon Scales.
