Quincy

In Pure Destruction, one can choose to partly (or even fully) become a Quincy.


As opposed to Shinigami, the preferred weapon of a Quincy is a bow, which is generated by a Quincy Artifact, [Mekkyaku Jūji], and has a unique shape to each person. (such as a ring, or bracelet) At first bows take on a normal appearance, and with proper focus can take a more developed and unique state once the individual has reached a higher level of Quincy power (‘Bow Manifestation’, available at Lt. Level). This manifested bow determines what types of arrows are fired. (Speed, size, strength, etc. of the arrows. After the bow manifestation two aspects of this will be one’s specialty.)

Besides the artifact, a Quincy must also learn how to gather Spirit Particles [Reishi] from their surroundings and also how to use their own Spiritual Energy [Reiryoku.] to effectively create their bow and the arrows they make. This will be learned in the first stages of training and will gradually get stronger as the person uses them in spars. (On a later stage they can learn to draw it from Spirit Pressure [Reiatsu] as well.)


(Seele Schneiders only available at a Lt. & Captain level, after one learns to manifest their bow.)



The changes following the bow manifestations are an overall increase of marksmanship (mainly the two focus points of your bow + http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Quincy_...s#Marksmanship), the allowed usage of Seele Schneiders, the high level technique of Ransōtengai after some training, and, lastly the ability to draw Reishi from Reiatsu (this doesn’t weaken the person it’s taken from).
