We are now accepting poetry for the Open Amateur Poetry Contest.
The contest is open to everyone and entry is free. However, you must hurry; the deadline for entering your poem is November 30, 2008

All of those who enter will recieve a personal critique of their poem. Most of the prize money will be awarded to new an unpublished poets, many of whom have never entered a poetry competition before.

Bok rabbits are a legendary race
for they have a red nose on their face

when a car comes around, they jump and they bound
and light up that nose at a pace!

The car when seeing, does the other of fleeing
driver stops the car at a haste.

for what does he spy? a red light, thats why.
we all know red means stop.

Where am I ? Whats this place ?
I'm lost with you,
In a trance in a daze.
I can't find you,
I think im stuck in this maze.
Where did you go to ?
I turn around your not there.
As I start to wonder where,
And I fear, I am lost.

L.O.V.E.
Love is a simple word that means so much. It's also a way of expressing how you feel about someone ,but to me each letter has it's own meaning.
L~ Is for language. One in which we do not speak.
O~ Is for obstical. Cause we will go through any for that special someone.
V~ Is for victory. One in which you share with that person.
E~ Is for eternity. Cause once you find that special someone, it's how you'll always wanna be.

The window is wrapped with this blue papper,
blocking my view from the sun,
My eyes staring at the paper,
in this place where i'm shuned,

Forgive me for this one days's presence,
My life is a long journey to hell,
My only wish is to leave you with presents,
Gifts from my locked up shell....

my heart skips a beat
I wonder if you know, my love,

Here's mine, not best work, but still good:

In the morning of freshly risen
The smell and sniff of daily horizon
The snow covered the white mountain top
The sun quickly melt it off

A sudden heat in the cold breeze
A blasting of ash and sheesh
The heat of fire has subsided
The clouds floating and taking a ride

The streets' holidays were filled with kimonos
Sounding of chattering and laughter of the dojos
The lovely flowers has given of scents
Kenjutsu users knew what that meant

Arose from the midst of despair
Raining from the fading flare
The field was empty by the time of raining
The sounds of houses rumble from training

How shining the midnight moon
The sun would come up very soon
Should the cloud be moving ?
Or should they be soothing ?

Loudly the wind rushes into the bushes
Sounding the mighty and toughness
It blew anything in its way
O look, the season of May

Fall came, with rain and wind
Rain poured, wind blew and leaves fell
The orange of trees make the woods colorful
How lovely the sound of powerful

Well heres another one from me its called Missing you...
I miss you when your with me.
I miss you when your away.
I miss you more and more each and everyday.
But when your gone i miss you the most ,
So i sit around and say I'll miss you
till the end of the world because i love you babe.
