![]() Two Brothers Chapter one - The betrayal He had his hand tighty gripped around his hilt of the sword, staring at his opponent. Adrenaline rushed through his vains like racing horses. His sweat shown, glistening, in the night sky. The moon was shining over the two, revealing their wounds. Blood was dribbling down their face, hitting the cold blackness that they were standing on. "Why did you do it!?" yelled Erith. Tears were running down his face. "Why did you slaughter them, why did you slaughter our parents?!" "It's something you wouldn't understand, something that had to be done." his brother said. He started to chuckle, and then he stood there glaring at Erith, emotionless. No guilt, no sorrow, nothing. "I will kill you, my brother, i swear it. You will die Zen!" More tears were pooring down Erith's face. He charged with rage and sorrow. He clenched his sword, raised it up and slashed. "Haha, is that what you call power little brother?" Blood was dripping from Zen's chest. He held his hand upon the opened wound. Zen got his sword out and started to laugh again. His shirt was stained in redness, still bleeding through his hands. He lunged his sword straight into his brothers stomach. Erith fell over staring his last stare at his brother. He slowly closed his eyes "I hate you, Zen..." and his head fell onto the floor. His lifeless body was laying on the volcanic ground. "Pathetic..." said Zen. He walked off laughing. Was Erith dead?

Chapter 2 - Killer instincts
Erith awoke enraged. A loud roar had waken him up. He could not think nothing about nothing but blood of his brother onto his sword. What his brother had done was unforgivable. His life he had was now gone. Erith was laying on hay. Where was he? His eyes were bloodshot from anger. He had bandages wrapped around his wound. The blood was seeping through the white bandages staining it red. Erith got up looking around. "Finally awake are ye?" a man in ragged clothes said. This guy was a plump man, and his clothes could berely fit him. His beard looked as though it hadn't been shaven in years, but something about this guy made Erith comfortable like he was at home. Erith looked around, there was hay everywhere. Some of it was burnt for some strange reason. It looked as though he was in a burned down barn. He could smell burning hay all around him. "Better not strain yourself, unless you wanna open up ter wounds 'gain. I thought you'd die, yer wounds were so bad. Someone must love you out there." Erith just stood and shot a cold stare at the man. "What were you doing out here? It's a dangerous place to be." Then something caught Eriths ear. It was a loud screeching sound. It sounded as though something was dying. Erith started to run and see what it was untill the mans voice had stopped him. "Dun'cher mind 'em, he's a loud feller he is. Hey why doncha go and meet 'em? His name is Sig, but i call him "big Sig" because he's one hell of a dragon i'll tell you." Erith looked at him and quietly said "ok". He dashed outside, and what he came acrossed astounded him. The Dragon wasn't like anything he'd seen. It had magestic blue scales that gleamed in the sunlight. His eyes were pure gold. He had red around the rims of his eyes. The Dragon looked as though it could be around 19 feet tall. His eyes were making Erith think nothing but pleasant thoughts, and he'd almost forgotten what had happened to his parents. "Won't you be on your way then. Oh, and i made something for you." The man stuck his hands out and handed Erith a sword. The sword had a silver handle, and looked as though the blade took years to make. Just above the grip was a red ruby. The blade looked as though it could cut through anything. "This is a fine sword, and crafted by dragon fire making it virtually indestructable. I aquired it by my father, but i'm getting to old fer it. So i though i'd pass her down to yeh. She's really light too." Erith took the sword and held it up in the sky. The blade was astoundingly light. "Thank you." said Erith. But then, something went wrong. Something had just clicked out of place in Erith's head and he lost control over his body. He was thinking nothing but blood and slaughtering the innocent. Something had possessed him. His eyes turned red, and he fell to the ground screaming.

Chapter 3 - Death of an innocent
Erith held his head screaming more. "Make it stop, make it stop!" he screeched. Thoughts of Zen, thoughts of his parents dying, thoughts of blood was whirling around in his head. What was happening to him? More rage came to his mind. Murder was echoeing throughout his head. Erith couldn't do anything, his pain was great, and all he could let out was a tear. Erith rolled over on his back and blacked out. The pain was gone. When Erith soon awoke, he could see trails of blood leading to his body. He though maybe it was his wound that reopened. It wasn't. He then looked at his hands. They were stained in red. Erith got up and follow the trail of blood. The moonlit sky brightened up the night so he could see where he was going. Then as he approached the ending of the trail, he saw a figure lying infront of him. Erith's heart stopped. He bent over to see what it was. His guess was correct. Sig was howling all over the place trying to break the chains that held him in place. Erith backed up and quickly turned around sprinting the opposite direction of the body. He started to scream. "WHAT HAVE I DONE!" his voice echoed in the field of blackness. He had killed the guy that had saved his life. He had killed a man of innocents. This guy had saved his life and he didn't even ask the man his name. Then, again, his head started to hurt more and more. "blood, blood, more blood!" was echoeing through his mind. "What do you want from me?" screeched Erith. No reply. His head started to hurt more and more untill the point in which his whole body had started to hurt. "What's happening to me!"

Chapter 4 - Racia
"I have to control it!" Erith thought. "I have too!" Erith had his hands up to his head holding it tightly. "Stop it! Get out! GET OUT OF MY DAMN HEAD!" The pain, then, left his body. Erith fell onto his knees panting. He could still hear Sig roaring in the backround. The next day Erith burried the man that had saved his life. He marked the grave with a cross made out of two wood pieces strung together. Tears were falling down his face. Sig was laying on the ground. Erith could tell that Sig knew what had happened to his master. " I guess you're stuck with me," Erith said to Sig. The dragon stared at Erith and bent his head down to the ground. The sun was shining onto the house of the old man. It was a small-sized house standing upon a hill in a field. Trees were covering the vast plains. Erith pulled out keys from his pockets that he had grabbed when he went to bury the old man. He walked over the Sig, and unlocked the chains from the dragon's feet. The dragon stood up looking much taller than Erith remembered, and something caught his eye. Something was shining in the sunlight. It was around Sig's neck. It was a necklace. The boy looked at the necklace oddly. He had seen the necklace before. He had read about it at school. It was a cursed necklace placed around anything to force the wearer to do it's masters biddings. It was used to tame the savaged beast. Erith hurried over to take it off. He quickly unchained it from the Dragon's neck. It let out a quick shock and knocked the boy off his feet. He fell right next to the sword that the old man had gave him. He slowly reached his hand to get it. "No! Boy, what are you doing?" Erith took his hand off the sword and looked up. "Who said that?" It sounded like a womans voice, but where was it coming from? "Silly humans, always so clueless. It is I, Sig, or that's what you humans call me." "Y-y-you can talk?" he was purplexed. "I've always been able to talk, you see, since you took off that necklace that was around my neck. You broke the spell in which i can now talk. Master told me not too, but of course, i had to obey him." "My name is Racia, queen of the dragons." "Whatever," Erith said. "I need to get going now. Your welcome by the way." He reached out his hand to get the sword. "So i assume you don't know what's happening to you, do you? Do it, go touch that sword again, i dare you." Racia turned her head over to Erith. "Do you even know what that sword is? I can't believe Racio actually gave you that sword. He must sense great potention in you boy." "What do you mean?" "Hah, humans. That sword is called the Zarnarkian sword also known as "the Demon Slayer" but for myself, i call it "The Sword of the Damned" it's a hellish sword. One of the 3 swords of legend. That right there, my boy, is an evil sword. Have you ever had any burning sensations in your body?" "Yes," replied the boy. "Hah, your still so weak. That was one of the demons from the sword escaping to your body. In order to wield this sword, you must first close your mind. If not, you'll be possessed by one of the demons that was slain and trapped into that sword." "Well then, i guess your training will start now."
