this story used to be called moonstone but the name was changed when the plot was editied. sa is japanese for sun/ken is and/ tsuki is moon/ishi is stone-altogether meaning sun and moon stone
(note: this religion is based off of japanese legends ,which involves the sun goddess-amaterasu and the moon god-tsukuyomi but they have different names in this. ****ichiniza Amatsu Bun'ya is a mixture of the japanese phrase: ''****i uchini za amatsu bun'ya'', which literally translates ''city in the heavenly realm''. ***ei is plural Guardians, whereas Kouken is Guardian,as in one Guardian. ''Redi-keishu" means ''Lady Guard'' and, ''Seimei Za-men'' means ''life seed.)

Prologue
womans voice: ever since the beginning of time, there have been 2 deities: Sa the sun goddess and Tsuki the moon god. they created the world, and men to inhabit it. they didnt care for it themselves, and left it as they had created it. but when humans started to do as they pleased, and didnt know right from wrong, Sa and Tsuki didn't want to destroy the world so they stepped in and created the ***ei. we were made to keep the peace of the world and mankind from sinning. the Redi-keishu is the ruler of the ***ei and the only one who can speak to Sa and Tsuki. the redi-keishu was given the job of sealing the god and goddess into a stone called the sa ken tsukiishi where they would sleep for all of time. the ***ei then divided into three sections: the counsel members, escorters of the dead, and the peacekeepers/messengers who went to and from earth. the redi-keishu gave the stone to a man who was to protect sa ken tsukiishi with his life until he died. he was called the hogosha(protector) by the ***ei. when he died he gave it to his child who then protected the sa ken tsukiishi his entire life. but when he died he had no children so the sa ken tsukiishi was given to another family. it continued like this: going from parent to child at the time of the parent's death but if there was no child, the stone was given to a different family. i ,Sestia, the current redi-keishu, gave the sa ken tsukiishi to a woman named Rijia who gave it to her daughter Hazuki at her untimely death.
