lol ok then that's about all for right now lol now u have me looking through all my stories

Around two minutes later Grim and Rai appeared in front of us, slouching and out of breath. Jake and Nickolas jumped up, helping them onto the couch. Jake grabbed them a drink of water “What happened?” Rai shook her head “Their entire frontal battalion was there. We took out probably two-fourths of them but then we had to retreat.” She took a drink of water as Grim continued, “I hope the waiting room isn’t to full or we’ll be getting a call from some very angry people.” The front door opened and two people came in, Jake stood up “Mom, Dad, what are you guys doing home?” His mom put purse down on the table “We sensed when they arrived and decided to come home.” Jake’s dad set his suit coat on the table and seemed to notice me “And who is this young lady?” I stood up “Hello, I’m Cassandra.” He nodded “Nice to meet you Cassandra, I’m Jordan and this is my wife Pam.” She waved “Um, did you understand what I meant by sensing?” I smirked “Yeah, I know.” They let out a sigh of relief; Pam spoke again “Will you be staying tonight?” I thought for a second, about the consequences, and glanced toward Jake “Can I use your cell? I need to call my brother.” He glanced at his dad “Is one more O.K.?” Jordan nodded so Jake tossed me the phone. I walked into the kitchen and dialed my brother’s phone.

He picked up his phone with “Yellow Jake.” Apparently he had caller ID “Jess, it’s me, Cassie.” His voice got quiet “Cassie! Where the heck are you? Dads pissed!”
“I figured. I’ve got some news.”
“What?”
“I’m staying overnight at Jake’s and I want you here.” That was met with silence.

A few seconds later I asked “Jess are you still there?” I heard him take a deep breath in “I’ll be there, give me ten minutes.”
“Thank you.” He hung up the phone and I closed Jake’s.

Fifteen minutes later there was a knock at the door, Jake got up and answered it. He came back running through the living room “Nick, get Jess inside, now! Cassie stay sitting.” Nickolas was up and moving. I stood up but Grim put his hand on my shoulder and sat me back down “Relax. Jordan, would you mind?” He stood up and went after Nickolas. Jordan and Nickolas came back through the living room, carrying Jess. I jumped up “Jess! What happened?” His head shifted slightly toward me “Don’t worry, I’m fine.” My face heated up “Did he do this to you?! Did he?!” Jess’s eyes closed and he turned away. I stomped into the back yard, slamming the door shut behind me. Grim got up, took hold of Jess, and nodded toward the door “Go, bring her back.” Nickolas nodded and ran out the door.

I stormed toward an oak tree, the wind blowing against my face. The temperature had been dropping because winter was coming and the clouds were threatening to spit sleet on me. Hot tears were streaming down my face as I stopped and took a deep breath in, glancing at the gray sky. My father had never come down on Jess before so he must be really ticked. A hand on my shoulder startled me. I turned to see Nickolas, holding my coat “We don’t want you to catch cold.” He slowly put the coat over my shoulders “He’ll be fine, don’t worry.” I nodded, wiping my face “I’m sure he will be but that doesn’t change the fact that now it will happen again.” Nickolas cocked his head so I continued, “Once my father does it once he’ll do it again. Jess would always get in his way when he tried to beat me but now my father’s had enough.”
“I think you guys should stay here for a while.” I shook my head “No, we can’t do that. I’ve lived with it this long.” Nickolas grabbed my shoulders and faced me “I won’t let you or your brother go back.” My eyes met his “But-. “ He interrupted me by shaking his head “No. You do not deserve what you have been getting and it’s time for it to stop.” A tear slipped down my face as the clouds started spiting sleet. Nickolas put his arm around my shoulder and coxed me back into the house.

Jess was cleaned up and laying on the couch, I sat in the rocking chair next to him “Sorry, I lost it.” My brother looked as if to be sleeping, I sighed, “Nick says we are to stay out of our father’s house from now on. He says we can stay with him. I don’t want to go back.” Nickolas came into the room “Cassandra, can talk to you?” I stood up and followed Nickolas into the room that Jordan let him have. I sat on the bed and he sat next to me “We’ve got some news.” I glanced over at him “What?” He cocked his head, got up, and grabbed a rag “You’re face is a mess.” I wasn’t used to someone being so forward but before I had time to respond he touched my cheek with the rag and slowly wiped. I could feel my face heating up as I met Nickolas’s bright red eyes. His expression was unreadable as he finished wiping my face. I cocked my head “What?”
“How come I’ve never noticed you before, at school?” I glanced down “I’m good at staying in the shadows.” He put his finger under my chin, lifting my head up “Why?” I stood up, of the bed “What did you guys figure out?” He sighed and blinked a couple of times “We found out what the Erana are after.”
“What?”
“All souls.” I cocked my head “You mean they are like D-Demons?” He nodded “Yeah.” I cocked my head “Aren’t you guys considered demons?” He shook his head “No, we don’t go around reaping every soul we see. We only reap the ones we are told to.”
“Aren’t there to many souls for just one person?” He sighed “Yeah. That’s kind of the problem. We are the reapers for this area. Each country or county has their own reaper. Even though we are currently the strongest family of reapers there are plenty of others out there.” I nodded “O.K. now I understand but I want to know what the Erana are going to do.” He sighed, “They want to take over the world and kill every human on the planet including us.” All the sudden the world started shaking and I blacked out.

My eyes opened to see Nickolas’s body over my body and he was out cold. I carefully lifted him off me and laid him on the bed. I glanced around and it seemed something had changed. I stood up, went to the window, and glanced out. Nothing was there, absolutely nothing. Everything was leveled; this house was the only thing standing. My face fell as I stepped back toward Nickolas. I shook him “Nickolas, Nickolas, wake up, wake up.” His eyes popped open “Cassandra, what happened?” I pointed at the window “It’s all gone. Everything’s gone.” He flew over to the window “Holy crap, what happened?” I shook my head “I-I’ve got no idea. I passed out and when I came to you were over me. I pushed you off and went to the window. Then I saw what I saw.” Nickolas turned and pushed the door open into the living room. No one was there, Nickolas called “Mom, Dad, Jake, Jordan, Pam, anyone?” He stepped out into the room, putting his hand up to keep me inside the room “Don’t move.” I nodded and stayed right behind him in the doorway. He stepped into the living room and glanced around “No one is here.” I stuck my head under neither his arm and glanced around “Where could they have gone?”
