Toei scramble up the side of the crater, slowly pulling himself to the top. As he climbed to the surface he gasped as he looked around. He didnt have any idea where he was, but it was in ruins. The buildings were destroyed. It looked as if a bomb had went off.

Toei walked along the roads, looking for someone alive. His stomach started to grumble as he came across a supermarket. He looked inside, everything in the store was burnt. He sighed, looking at the cylinder object the man had given him. It was black, with a single red button hidden within the ridges along the top.

Toei leans against the wall, closing his eyes. All he can think about it Ren, about what would have happened if he hadnt have been late. That they would have been somewhere else, and he wouldnt be here alone. He twirled the cylinder in his hands, while he started to walk further down the street. It was mid-day and the sun was started to set.

He looked in the windows of each store, hoping to catch a glimpse of something edible. He stopped suddenly, staring through the window of a movie store. It was devastated but he saw bags of potato chips laying scattered across the floor. He looked around, before pulling open the door and stepping in. In his search for food he didnt notice that he was being followed.
