one fact that none mentioned...it doesnt matter how strong ichigo gets or is...he has limitations...goku like all saiyans just keeps getting stronger and stronger and reaching new levels...every fight makes him stronger..also goku is a martial arts champ,which means that he knows how to fight...ichigo doesnt...he is strong enough to destroy a solar system(perfect cell said he could and goku is far stronger)ichigo cant withstand such an attack...goku is by far faster..when gotenks was first fused as a ssj he cyrcled the earth many times(and fusion lasts only 30 minutes).and dont compare graphics since dbz came out around 1989.and if it wasnt for dbz you wouldnt be watching bleach...so have some respect

and don't you compare how strong they are since clearly, the author of dbz intended to make goku that strong for the plot and ichigo this strong for the plot. if ichigo was as strong as goku, bleach would have ended ages ago, thus, defeating the purpose of creating the manga.

i cant believe how infinitesimally intelligent the arguments people make about "x is stronger than y" and "y is faster than x so he'd kill him in seconds" then "no, y's sword wouldnt work on x" etc etc. this is so stupid and is clearly a moot point.

If DBZ was not created there would be no bleach. The DB and DBZ anime and manga was what gave this generation the ideas for their main characters. It’s been said many times by the creators of the three main anime (one piece, naruto, bleach) that they based their ideas for their main characters on Goku. Don't believe me look it up!
Also, it doesn’t matter that one author made the other character stronger. The fact still remains that he is stronger, and X would beat y within 5 seconds and Y sword wouldn’t work on X. Sorry but that’s the fact!!!

if this was a fight, goku would win becos he is just to seriously hardcore and badass. but even if its popularity, goku still wins. and if we were talking about who is just plain cooler, it may be slightly tougher, but again goku. he is tough, cool, a bit of a interesting idiot, strong, determined, and just generally one of the greatest heroes in manga/anime (i mean he could have been a god, but turned it down).
ichigo was cool once, but the way the story has been going in the bleach series, i just can't like him as much. he doesn't really stand firm on anything, and his friends need to slap him around a bit in order for him to come to realize what he wants to do. not very proactive, and he is just getting plain annoying with his dumbass powerups. i used to like him, but no more.

and it does matter if the author made this stronger etc etc. this is a simple example of the fallacy of false analogy. comparing them is just fail.
