Remove post-count...

Everyone here seems to spam so they have the highest post count, and it fills the forum up with rubbish...

All you have to do is disable the post-count in the vBulletin admin section for Users.

I think it would make the forum a nicer place. As Hylia said in another thread 'we're not here to see who has the biggest e-peen*, we're here to discuss anime, no?'

*e-peen is a psuedonym for 'e-*****' much like bragging 'i have a big willy' irl but online and is usually related to post-counts and/or rep point

ie Person with 500 posts has a smaller e-***** than a 5,000 post user. It creates conflict too.

dude you realize that a post count just shows how many posts you've made and hell i've made threads just for random/spam msg if a person wants to spam so bad they just need to look for one of thoose or ask someone/make one themselves most people don't spam threads for posts unless they have no life or aren't really considered alive.

The whole point of sephz0r's suggestion is that people like you will stop spamming AC if there is no post count.

As for the suggestion itself, the decision is up to psp and him alone. Although i am against the idea

dude you don't know me and you think you know everyone on AC the thing is NO BODY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT THIS TYPE OF THREAD!!!!!!! and if your askin an admin to get rid of post counts you'd have more of a chance of the world imploding on itself then them turning off the post count!!!!

But you are right about getting rid of post count, I don't think it will happy. That being said one way to stop spamming, is to first and foremost get a set of rules. Second, have more moderators to enforce those rules.

I've been a member of forums bigger than this where they have disabled the post count. The only thing a post count does is encourage people to spam.

And you have the likes of yourself, fallenvizard, etc just trying to get the 'top poster for last 7 days' #1 position. I've seen you AND fallen create threads just to up your post count to beat other people... and I've reported every one of them.

well good for you reporting threads that ARE MADE FOR PPL TO SPAM IN!!!! tht just makes them people who can't get a place to spam, spam the real threads i make all my threads with purpose my spam threads are so people have a place to go if they feel like they are wanting to spam/be random!! and that keeps it away from the other threads and dude DON'T BE SUCH A GOODIE GOODIE TOSHOES!!!!
