Remove Naruto from 'Now Running'...

'Naruto' has already finished, so I think it should be removed from now running and be replaced with Shippuden.

ie at the moment it looks like:

Naruto
- Season 1
- Season 2
...
...
...
- Shippuden

etc

Shippuden is a completely different series to Naruto, much like Code Geass R2 is different to Code Geass.

Anyway, my suggestion is Naruto is moved 'completed' and Naruto Shippuden gets its own place on the list of running anime

Season 1 is episodes 1 to 26
Season 2 is episodes 26 to 52
Season 3 is episodes 53 to 79

A season lasts 26 episodes, a new season starts with a new opening animation and song, whereas each season gets a new ending animation and song every 13 episodes, totalling 2 per season.

You should really brush up on anime knowledge

you are right on the numbers but most animes don't follow the rules that much

Every anime follows those rules except for those which only have awkward numbers of episodes ie 33 or something like that where it's not plausible to have an extra intro.

Some anime stop short such as Fullmetal Alchemist at 51 episodes instead of 52.

Naruto sometimes has maybe 30 episodes in a season as there are double episodes/hour long specials which AnimeCrazy cut into 2 seperate episodes. If you look on the Dattebayo tracker you'll see missing episode numbers usually when the previous episode has been a double, although I don't think they do that now.

It used to be if 44 was a double episode they would release the next episode as 46 instead of 45... but they have started titling double episodes as 'Naruto Shippuden 44-45' etc.

Death Note was nearly nearly a season and a half. It stopped at 37 whereas the 2nd half of the season would have started at 39.

It got 2 openings anyway, remember when it changed to that awesome 'ningen sucker' opening at ep. 26? I loved that OP!
