Guide to oibtaining flv links

If it needs to be moved please do so, didn't know where it belonged.

Just made this guide for som1unoe, so I figured I might as well just share it with the rest off ya.

First off you'll need 'orbit downloader'.
Download Orbit Rich Media Downloader:download social video,music, streaming media, rtmp and more...Pandora,IMEEM,YouTube,Yahoo,Myspace,Dailymo tion,RapidShare...

When installing it will ask you to install 'getplus' or something with get, choose not to install it. (crashes videos)

When it's installed double-click on the application/shortcut.

Depending on former choices it will either pop-up or open in the system tray (lower-right where the time is)

You will need to open 'grab++'
With the pop-up it's under tools.
If it's in the system tray, right click it and it will be the fourth from below.

Click ok on the pop-up.

Now open a link to a video or refresh, example: (took a fast mirror)
Bleach Episode 245 | Watch Bleach Anime Online

Now you just need to click on play.
As soon as it starts loading, the flv link will be available in grab++

So go to grab++
Go to the flv link (there's swf and flv, some ads are flv as well.)
right click the link and choose download

A new pop-up should show with the url.
Copy the url and you'll have the flv link.

exit the create download pop-up
add the link to AC.

Some notes/tips:
-There's an action button above the links, after every link click it and choose clear all so you won't get 2 eps confused

- If the link is too long or doesn't work, cut off the piece &OBT and everything after it.
such:

http://www.example.com/5235566753/3426352.flv

Instead of:

http://www.example.com/5235566753/3426352.flv&OBT_fname=57896995643/78579.flv

-AC does not support long file names. Meaning that some flvs don't work such as;
rutube (half of them)
veoh (not too long but doesn't work either way)
megavideo (changing links)
youtube (way too long)
guba (too long)
and more

-Your best choices are;
myspace
sevenload
clips
mail
vidilife
lifevideo
etc.

flv links are generally accepted on AC, meaning that the site where it came from, does not matter.

-To get to the movies you'll first need to find them from other sites. You do that like this.
Go to google
type in 'watch ... online'
remove the quote marks and type the series name w/ or w/o episode #

This will search for anime sites that offer that episode.

do you mean Grab Pro??? and thx for the guide. i was always wondering how to get those flv links^^

Ya and I do.

Some people add fast or slow mirrors and I add their flvs since they usually provide better quality.

Doesn't matter. Competition sites get the links, companies get the links. Having a guide like this on the front page will only help imo.

thought the same when i saw this first^^

aaaaaah... i really hate mv!!!! adde 224 mv mirrors two days ago and a few are already broken... have to check them again *depressed*
